About the Role

Your role as Cluster Business Manager for a cluster would be to profitably grow COMPANY in all lines of business (full truck, Express part truck load, cold chain, marketplace and new business lines as they get added) through a team of 5-20 people. You will create incisive Go-To-Market to penetrate and grow market share across corporates, SMEs, channel and retail for your cluster. The role offers both range and depth of business development, as well as an opportunity to build and grow your team – should be exciting for any aspiring sales manager. What makes the role more challenging is that you would develop skills in pricing, product GTM along with collections. This role would report directly to the Regional Business Manager.

What You”ll Do

Prospect potential customers using various direct methods such as calling and face to face meetings – focused more on retail customers in dense marketplaces, and indirect methods such as networking. You will also leverage the Inside Sales team and external partners
Establish relationships with new customers and secure contracts with new customers that help achieve assigned sales targets
Work closely with Regional Business Manager (RBM) to ensure product mix across business lines is maintained at an optimum level
Basis customer feedback, provide inputs to RBM and other senior members of the team regarding product innovation
Develop and handle a sales book of Rs 25-100 Cr+ in his / her cluster through hunting new customers
